We get this generally as the first question in the phone call, initially we don't know, If it was that easy everyone would do what we do. There are many factors that go into borrowing capacity, household income, family make up, postcode location and even some sneakies on your payslips or tax returns that can drastically change your positon.
We will have a rough idea on borrowing power which we can discuss during the discovery call, but your absolute borrowing will be determined during the Strategy & Proposal Meeting.
The discovery call is the big one, we discuss your financial position, life and goals, we do reserve 90 minutes, but depending on your position this could be much shorter.
YES! PLEASE! The more you do your Home work the better the call will be, which will add lots of value to you, otehrwise you will be filling in a VERY VERY boring form.
YOU MUST SIGN our Credit Guide & Privacy Statement - If you have not so before the call it will be cancelled.
Have prepared:
- Income (we will assess after the call) - Best to have your payslip handy to discuss
- Property addresses (if you own any)
- Rental Income (if you have any)
- Debts (balance, rates, terms (interest only, Principal and Interest), how long is left on the terms, repayments, & if a personal loan is there a balloon payment
- Living Expenses (Rent, Groceries, Insurances, Gym, Health, Holidays, Car Expenses, Internet, Phone, Subscriptions, Schooling, Day Care etc)
- Do you know your creit score? (not critical you will find out on the call)
- If you have a partner ideal to have on the call so they can discuss their position
- Any Concerns??? Paint Points ETC.
- Discuss your goals and dreams before the call, we will confirm what steps you may need to take.
- Know your DEPOSIT and Cash to Contribute..
That is absolutely fine, YOU ARE NOT WASTING YOUR TIME, the discovery call is to understand where you at, we will not tell you to go away, we will leave the call and confirm a strategy for you (that might mean, sell, refinance OR restructure)

Strategy/proposal call: $1,000–$2,500 (based on your deal)
If You Can’t Borrow—No Stress:
We get it, sometimes the numbers don’t stack up right now. If you can’t borrow straight away, we don’t just leave you hanging.
You’ll get a personalised action plan—maybe it’s paying off debt, selling a home, cutting expenses, finding a new job, or, if you’re really desperate… selling a child (kidding, obviously).
The best part? The fee you’ve already paid will be credited towards your first deal when you’re ready to go.
If You Change Your Mind—Too Bad, So Sad:
If you just change your mind after we’ve done the work, the fee is non-refundable. We’ve invested time, expertise, and a full team into your strategy. That’s the deal. BUT, if you change your mind, and just want to pause, no stress, when you come back, we will continue where you have left off.
Yes we have a very small approved list of Buyers Agent, in fact we have ONE we reccomend the most but this comes down to your budget, we can discuss you options on the strategy call.
